Artist on the Rise: The Virgins

The Virgins hail from New York. Current band members include Donald Cumming, Wade Oates, and Nick Ackerman. In 2007 they compiled a 5 song LP titled The Virgins '07. After being passed around the New York club scene, it landed at Atlantic Records where The Virgins were eventually signed to a recording contract. Last year, their song, "Rich Girls," was ranked 68th on Rolling Stone's list of "100 Best Songs of 2008." Look out for The Virgins.
