The group's 5th album, titled The E.N.D. is due out June 9th. Will.i.am found the inspiration for the record in Australia where he was influenced by the electro grooves and clubby vibe of the Sydney hip hop scene. The album, which stands for The Energy Never Dies, features beats commissioned by MSTRKRFT and more than enough Auto-Tune to keep any android content. In many of the tracks, Fergie's vocals are chopped, skewed, broken, and glued back together. The first single, Boom Boom Pow, struck me as mediocre but look out for the song, Out of My Head. Fergie recorded it while she was drunk and Will.i.am praises it as the dopest track on the entire album.
